Day 2: Capri

Today you will enjoy a full-day (8 hours) to Capri in your private motor-yacht with English-speaking captain.
As you circle the Island of Capri you will be able to stop at Marina Piccola, which is a delightful picturesque inlet that provides the Caprisi and other sun worshipers with their best beach – it is also safe for swimming. We suggest lunch at Al Gallo D’Oro, which serves an excellent selection of local fare. Travelling west you pass the beach of Marina Grande and of Bagni di Tiberio. The next stretch of coastline consists of the high calcareous cliff with fissures and grottoes covered by lush, indigenous vegetation. After passing Punta Gradola, reach the Blue Grotto where you will have the chance to visit the famous blue water cave.
Enjoy time at leisure for shopping or perhaps a lazy swim from the boat before cruising back to Capri.

Day 3: Florence

After a ferry ride back to Naples and a short train ride to Florence, check into the lovely boutique hotel. Hotel Lungarno is perched along the south bank of the River Arno just a stone’s throw from the Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery.

Day 4: Bike Tour of Florence

Slowly riding down Florence’s narrow streets, in a very pleasant, relaxing way, the tour reaches the most amazing monuments of Florence and its un-known spots: Santa Maria Novella, the artisans Oltrarno district, Palazzo Pitti, San Frediano, Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi square, Santa Croce, Piazza della Signoria, the medieval district, the Duomo, and Piazza della Repubblica… with a little break for Gelato tasting or coffee in the Oltrarno disctrict, the hidden part of the city centre.
If your tastes lean more toward wearable art, window shopping at the famous jewelry stores lining the Ponte Vecchio is a must—we particularly like the Orlando Orlandini Atelier…. If you’re into shopping, make the 40- minute trip to countryside outlet The Mall for big savings on designers like Gucci, Giorgio Armani, and Bottega Veneta…. We love riverside restaurant Borgo San Jacopo for dinner, or, for an exceptional view of the city, try the Tuscan fare (like the super-rich warm blue-lobster fillet with goose liver and herb sauce) at La Loggia restaurant at the Villa San Michele, a former monastery.

Day 5: Day Trip to Cinque Terre

Cinque Terre; a five mile stretch of a beautiful rocky coast. It takes its name from the five picturesque fishing villages of Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, Monterosso. A knowledgeable driver will take you to all five villages in one day from your hotel in Florence. The only way to truly experience the magic of this uncontaminated jewel on the genuine Italian Riviera is with a combination of easy walks, village visits, train rides and a short boat trip between the atmospheric Cinque Terre villages. Your expert tour guide will point out the best eateries to purchase delicious local Ligurian treats. And to eventually stop during one village and another, at a characteristic trattoria to savour the local cuisine with a breathtaking view onto the sea. Some free time perhaps for a swim in the sea.

Day 6: Rome

A high-speed train spirits you from Florence; you’ll get a good view of the Tuscan and Umbrian countryside en route to Rome, where ancient monumental art provides a backdrop for everyday life. Following lunch at a charming local restaurant, take a guided sightseeing tour to view many of the iconic sights of the Eternal City, including the Roman Forum, plus a visit to the Colosseum. Check in to your hotel, which is known for its prized location on Via Veneto.
The hotel combines the elegance of bygone eras with thoroughly modern conveniences, and the lavish rooms and suites are decorated in traditional and sleek art deco style with authentic details.

Day 7: Rome

Spend the first half of the day in Vatican City. See Raphael’s Transfiguration, the Raphael Rooms, the Belvedere Garden featuring the famous Laocoön and His Sons sculpture, and, of course, the restored Sistine Chapel, famous for Michelangelo’s ceiling and the Last Judgment fresco…. Walk to St. Peter’s Basilica and take in Michelangelo’s dome, his statue Pietà, Bernini’s magnificent Baldacchino, and the tombs of the Popes…….. Stop for an al fresco lunch at ‘Gusto, which serves fantastic pizza…. Visit the city center, starting at Piazza Navona then heading to the Pantheon…. End the day at the Spanish Steps; take in a gorgeous view of the city and sample delicious cuisine on the terrace of nearby Ristorante Mirabelle.

Day 8: Rome or Venice

Return transfer to airport for return flight home

*If time allows, we would suggest extending your honeymoon for three days to take in the amazing city of Venice.
